Using space to fund an event


A media owner in the out of home sector wanted to hold an event for media agencies and clients to celebrate their birthday. It was the last quarter of the year and the marketing budget had already been spent.


Fortitude funded the event for the media owner and helped to organise it. The event was held at a venue where we have a trading agreement and therefore the cost to hold the event there was paid for on a pound for pound basis. Other costs such as decorating and entertainment was also paid for by Fortitude and a ratio (1.5) was applied to the media owner’s cost.


The evening was an amazing success and enjoyed by over 250 people. The marketing department did not have to find any budget for the party as it was all paid for with advertising space. The space was filled with incremental advertising in the same financial year.
